Alice Nzinga

Alice brings extensive experience in Data Strategy, Insights and Analytics in E4I Africa. Her specialization is in Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Management, Data Analytics, Entity Resolution, Predictive Modelling, and Test & Learn technologies. Her data science roles in various companies in the United States has provided her an opportunity of demonstrating expertise in managing ad hoc data queries based on client demands and converting data to insights with context. Specifically, the skills she has gained at Vestcom in managing the development of the right tools to build on top of the company’s Enterprise Data Warehouse, guiding the creation of an Intelligence Platform for data insights are a key asset in E4I Africa’s Business, Markets and Future cities strand. She is driven by a desire to report outcomes based on key sales indicators, exploring performance measurement, providing insights on prescriptive campaign guidance and predictive campaign results and most importantly working with business teams, owners and partners to understand and interpret business performance and opportunities and explore market trends through data analytics insights. She previously served as a Manager for Retails Analytics where she led a team of data scientists to derive insightful information though analyzing trends, data visualizations and predictive modeling to recommend solutions. 

Alice holds a Master of Information Science degree from University of Arkansas, College of Engineering and Technology and B.A. in Business Administration from Baptist College in Little Rock. She has a passion for data and as part of her Master’s Project; Alice distinguished herself as a co-author of Ontology of Minimum Information About Biobank Sharing (OMIABIS).  Using a semantic web technology approach, Alice was able to outline how ontology could foster bio-bank data quality and ultimately leverage scientific research in the bio-banking field. 

Alice is an analytical, pragmatic leader with stellar tenacity to fuel business transformation and operational efficiencies that generate ground roots for sustainable top line growth. She is a strategist with a pronounced breadth of problem solving skills and sharp analytical approach. As an intuitive big-picture thinking individual, Alice is able to contribute to process improvements that lead to a firm’s financial profitability.
